Hi Shelley
I hope you're doing well.
I don't see any info on heavy metals in the FAQ's. I just made an appt with an MD who is now holistic since 2000. I have an appt for June, we chatted briefly and I told her I wanted help with my candida issues. She said that her experience has shown that heavy metals are almost always involved with candida.
How would I know if I have problem with heavy metals? I have to wait till June to see her, so was hoping I could get a jump on this. Any thoughts on this?

Hi Alicyn! 
This topic has been coming up a lot lately so I did put it in the FAQ, just not as its own section - it's under cleansing.
Mercury toxicity and copper toxicity contributes to candida as it lowers our immune response. If you're not sure you have either of these conditions, simply supplement with Zinc and MSM for a couple weeks and see if any of your symptoms improve. The FAQ post has a list of ailments that go hand in hand with metal poisoning. |
