Oh dear, senna is really awful. Okay, here's what you need to do:
Eat my Protein Shake with an extra egg, or the protein powder, and extra lecithin and a tablespoon of NYF.
Examine your stools and verify that you are producing bile.
Get at least one colonic or do a very thorough home enema. Skip this if they flushed out your colon when you went to the hospital and you haven't had much fiber since then.
Next, get some liquid aloe vera juice and drink 1/2 a cup 3 times a day for 3 days, and then throw it out. This is to tone and tighten the colon so it can actually move again. Repeat after two to four weeks of everything that follows. YOu need to cycle back and forth.
Take 1/4 cup of Kefir every day, or Yakult or Activa.
Take a spoonful of oil 3x a day. (protein shake counts as one.)
Take Swedish Bitters prior to every meal.
Take meals suitable for a 90 year old: slow cooked, blended, simple, but do make them as spicy as you can handle with whatever hot spice you like best, altho capsicum is my first choice. Don't skimp on fats. You need fats. Olive oil, EV coconut oil, Europen style butter, ghee, are best. Udo's Choice is also great, but is only good for my protein shake, salad dressing and Bruddig's Cottage Cheese.
Take flax seed tea 2 times a day.
Take one tablespoon of lecithin 3x a day.
Avoid roughage. DO NOT eat raw salads or raw whole veggies. Juice them instead, or make broth. At most, make soup or blended dips.
Have one BM a day, but not more than 2. Do an enema if you do not void at least once a day.
Take Triphala as your laxative. If you still drink caffeine, that's a laxative too. The oils are also a laxative.
See a chiropractor or osteopath or maybe phys therapist, someone who knows how to check how the spine and soft organs are positioned and counsel you on how to get them back into proper position. There are exercises, massage, slant board, that will help greatly. Or just keep doing home enemas with a good bucket enema and long walks and a bit of ab workout. That also works, but it's slower.
Hope that helps!
